Dear Ms. Kansier:

At the AFSS Leadership Conference earlier this month, a number of comments were made during your presentation about the additional costs that might be added to the MEO bid on the current A-76 Study. The discussion concerned the August 3rd proposal deadline and the potential costs of resolving union concerns for adversely affected bargaining unit members. You also mentioned that the MEO bid might be considered "high risk" if these union concerns had not been addressed and resolved by August 3rd.

Naturally this matter is of utmost concern to NAATS as the exclusive representative of the employees affected by the A-76 process. Prompt, written clarification of your position on the above points will be appreciated, particularly what is meant by "high risk," and what "union concerns" must first be resolved. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Walter W. Pike
President
