ACCOMMODATION OF DISABLED EMPLOYEES
Section 1. For the purpose of this Article, a
disabled employee is a medically qualified employee whose disability renders
them unable to perform the duties of an air traffic controller at their
present facility.
Section 2. A disabled employee will receive priority consideration, at
their request, to any facility within their region with an existing vacancy at
which the employee�s disability does not preclude them from performing the
duties of an air traffic controller.
Section 3. Nothing in this Article is intended to limit the
applicability of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, including the
employee�s right to reasonable accommodation.
