After two and a half years, here is how the FAA has chosen to inform the employees of the decision, that will have tremendous impact on ALL of them.

Dear Colleagues,

The agency plans on announcing the performance decision for the Automated Flight Service Stations at 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time on February 1, 2005. The information can be accessed in the following manner:

  • A video recording on the VOICELive website at http://videoontheweb.faa.gov.
     

  • An audiotape (audio portion of VOICELive broadcast) of the announcement via a toll free telephone number (866-499-4578) which has been reserved for the exclusive use of AFSS employees and their families. This number will only be available from 4 � 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on the date of the announcement.
     

  • The text of the message will be posted to the Office of Competitive Sourcing website at http://www.faa.gov/aca. Selected highlights from the winning proposal will be available at the same website.
     

  • The Air Traffic Organization, the Office of Human Resource Management, and the FAA employee and external websites will each have a link to the text of the announcement.

All venues will post the performance decision at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
